West Vancouver - Lions Gate Bridge - Stanley Park Seawall - Coal Harbour

05/07/02 - Tourist in my own town: West Vancouver - Lions Gate Bridge - Stanley Park Seawall - Coal Harbour

On July 02, 2005, I went for a bike ride over the Lions Gate Bridge, along the Stanley Park Seawall to Lost Lagoon, on the Trans Canada Trail (TCT) as it skirts Coal Harbour to the SeaBus terminal, and then back along the TCT to the remainder of the Seawall and then home over the bridge again.

The north end of the Lions Gate Bridge seems both steeper and longer when on a bike as opposed to in a car.

Although I'm not a flower kinda guy, these flowers at Third Beach caught my attention. I have no clue what they are.

History lesson: so this lovely picture is what the Marathon Realty protests of the early 1970's were all about. The protests seem to have been worthwhile.

The Trans Canada Trail (TCT) -- Seaside Trail. Here I get to bke another section of the TCT in my quest to do as much of this as possible. 

Dare we call this a "trail" (TCT)? Looks more like a boulevard to me. 

Believe it or not! This IS part of the TCT! 

The Trans Canada Trail never looked this gentile when Britta and I were biking the Myra Canyon on the Kettle Valley Railroad!
